The hearts of our family overflow with immense gratitude - to God, and to the compassionate people who have helped us transition to America. 

Making life-changing decisions that impact not just yourself, but your beloved wife and precious young children, is agonizing. Yet coming to this country and finding caring individuals willing to stand alongside us has made all the difference in the world. 

Arriving with just a suitcase, unable to speak the language, the culture foreign and overwhelming...we felt afraid and alone. But the kindness of the Anchor of Hope founder, Ann-Marie Potemski, and so many other volunteers has uplifted us. 

Strangers became friends, furnishing our bare apartment, stocking the fridge, helping us navigate phones, doctor visits, school enrollment. You gave your time, resources, and hearts generously. 

In our darkest moments, you brought light. Your compassion anchored us with hope, allowed us to plant roots, begin anew. 

You saw us not as burdens, but as human beings with dreams for our family. Your empathy speaks louder than words. We will never forget your love.
