Sharon was involved in the rewarding experience of readying an apartment for the first family assisted by Anchor of Hope. She then became actively engaged in helping other families needing assistance. She has been involved in fundraising efforts and coordinating collection drives to benefit Anchor of Hope. She networks with other generous donors to find needed donations of household items, children’s clothing, and toys. Most of all, Sharon is inspired by meeting the Anchor of Hope recipients who are so appreciative and grateful for the life-changing support provided by Anchor of Hope.

Sharon enjoys fitness, boating on Lake Erie, and skiing downhill with her longtime partner Nicholas Lewis. Nicholas is also an active volunteer for Anchor of Hope.
